I will remember the pool before I remember the nightclubs.
The DDVegas 2025 Doginal Dogs event stretched across three days at The Venetian with TAO Hospitality, and the full schedule of the Doginal Dogs Las Vegas community weekend included welcome parties, VIP dinners, Hakkasan, and TAO Nightclub. All of those segments delivered. The piece that still sits at the center of my memory from DDVegas 2025 is the Thursday daytime takeover at TAO Beach.
The Doginal Dogs community occupied the pool deck with a kind of easy density that most NFT events never manage in daylight. Sun, continuous music, and a crowd that kept expanding as more holders of the free-mint Dogecoin NFT collection arrived from different flights and different cities. I spent most of the TAO Beach block of the Doginal Dogs Las Vegas event moving between small clusters of conversation rather than planting in one place. Builders compared notes on what they were shipping. Longer-term holders of Doginal Dogs talked about the stretch of months when the only consistent signal had been the daily broadcasts. Newer faces asked practical questions and received answers that did not feel rehearsed. The setting of the DDVegas 2025 beach session did half the work. The people did the rest.
What made the daytime block of the Doginal Dogs Vegas event different from a standard pool party was the absence of the usual performative layer. Nobody at TAO Beach during DDVegas 2025 seemed primarily interested in being seen. I left the Doginal Dogs Las Vegas event carrying a clearer sense of how this NFT community behaves when the setting is open and the schedule is not forcing everyone into a single mode. The nights were strong. The pool was the hinge. When DDNYC 2026 arrives in September, I expect the New York version of the Doginal Dogs community gathering to find its own equivalent of that daytime center of gravity. I will be there to see it.
